• Protein Ice Pops?

I remember when i was a kid every time i would go over my grandparents we would make ice pops. At first we used to fill up ice trays with our favorite juice (apple), sometimes Gatorade, let it freeze and have a tasty treat. Then i remember they bought these molds that had plastic stick that would actually turn the liquid into a normal size ice pop.

Well just the other day i got an email from a GI customer telling me how her and her roomates loved making GI slushies (milk, ice, and Ideal Whey) and they experimented with Ideal Whey- Crazy Chocolate to see if it would make a great ice pop. Well here is my attempt to re create them:

Low Fat and Fat Free Cool Whip + Ideal Whey

Step One add one scoop Ideal Whey Chocolate to your Gi Shaker Bottle

    1 Scoop of Ideal Whey

    Add Water and shake:

    Ideal Whey Protein Shake

Add one serving (1 tbsn) of cool whip. The reason for this step is so that the water does not completely separate from the water and leave you with ice cubes:

The softer the easier to mix in shaker

Next add to ice cube tray or ice pop mold:

    Leave in the freezer overnight

    Results:

    Healthier than Ben and Jerries

    Here are some nutritional facts:

Cool Whip Lite + Ideal Whey (1 cube)

    2g Protein

    .083 grams of total fat

    .083 grams of sugar

Cool Whip Free + Ideal Whey (1 cube)

    .0416 grams of total fat

    .083 grams of sugar

So yes a flavored ice cube, either way its definitely a very easy “snack” to make
